Job Description
Job Title: Senior Extrusion Setter
Location: East Grinstead
Salary: 37K / 44K annum
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke plastic extrusions, creating high-quality plastic profiles and tubes. Offering a 4-day working week and a competitive salary, they’re looking for an experienced extrusion setter to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
* Produce high-quality extrusion profiles to meet production standards
* Ensure the machines are running efficiently and reporting any setting delays
* Train new starters, offering support and guidance where needed
* Updating production records accordingly so everything is up to date
* Adhering to health and safety standards at all times, as well as keeping a tidy workspace
* Carrying out any maintenance work on the machines
* Assist in tool trials as and when required
* Thorough quality checks and ensuring they get checked and signed by the correct person
* Printing finished goods labels and assist on the packing line if needed
Job Requirements:
* Past experience working in extrusion is essential
* Supervising experience is desirable
* Ideally drive and have access to your own transport
* Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
Hours:
* Monday – Thursday
* 07:30am – 19:30pm (Days)
OR
* 19:30pm – 07:30am (Nights)
