Job Description
Extrusion Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate extrusion team to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
* Organise manpower and materials to deliver on schedule.
* Monitor and report on safety, quality, and output, driving improvements where needed.
* Act as shift lead – setting priorities, directing staff, and ensuring adherence to KPIs.
* Coach and develop team members; identify skills gaps and implement training plans.
* Promote a safe work environment through active risk management and incident investigation.
* Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
* In-depth knowledge of extrusion processes and lean manufacturing.
* Strong problem-solving, people management, and communication skills.
* Proven experience in coaching, performance management, and driving team development.
* Safety-conscious with a proactive attitude toward process improvement.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off / 2 day & 2 nights.
Salary: £44,436 (including shift allowance).
