The Role
As a Reception ECT, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our youngest learners. You will create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment where children feel safe, inspired, and challenged. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will develop your teaching skills and grow professionally within a supportive community.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes curiosity and independence
*
Observe and assess children’s progress, using this information to inform teaching
*
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
*
Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities
We Are Looking For
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong passion for early years education
*
Enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting their early development
*
A reflective and resilient approach to teaching
*
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*
Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
*
Experience or interest in working within an independent school setting is desirable but not essential
