Job Description

Five Education is looking for an EYFS Practitioner in Bristol to work with children that have SEN or additional needs. The children will have a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties and behaviour challenges. The standard hours are 7.5 hours a day, full time is preferred but part time may also be considered. Experience with SEMH, high needs children, and autism is essential. Level 2 or 3 Diploma for Early Years Practioner is preferred. The successful candidate will be resilient and determined to establish an excellent rapport with hard to reach children. Main Responsibilities Organise class activities and follow EHC plans for students Support students by making the curriculum accessible and changing approaches to make learning fun Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils while maintaining a safe and consistent environment Helping students to develop social skills and self-regulation skills Work closely with the teaching staff to ensure all lesson objectives and personal goals are achieved. Essential Criteria Have experience with SEN Right to work in the UK Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary Able to work from 8:30-15:30 *Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us. Please note, the roles are term time only and start ASAP until July 22nd. It will be then pick up again from September onwards.
