Uniform Education is recruiting an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Kingston. This is a rewarding role working with children with a range of needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and developmental delays.
About the Role:
As an EYFS SEN TA, you will:

Support children in EYFS with 1:1 and small group learning
*
Assist with play-based and sensory activities to encourage engagement
*
Use communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and visual supports
*
Help pupils develop independence, social skills, and confidence
*
Support with personal care where required
*
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and families to support EHCP targets
*
Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience supporting children in EYFS (nursery, reception, or early years settings)
*
Knowledge of SEN, particularly Autism and developmental needs
*
Patient, caring, and enthusiastic with a passion for early years education
*
Confident using structured routines, sensory play, and communication aids
*
Able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and professionals
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education)Before You Apply
