Job Description
Academic Appointments are recruiting for an energetic, dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to work with a popular and vibrant EYFS team across 2 of our partner schools nr Harrogate.
The semi-rural school sites lead to a well-embedded, outdoors approach to play and learning and a large amount of time is spent in the arts and discovery areas, including Forest and Sensory Garden areas. To this end, we are seeking individuals with boundless enthusiasm and a sense of adventure and fun to underpin the learning of our pupils and forge important relationship with staff, parents and carers.
It is an advantage to either have, or be willing to undertake, Paediatric First Aid Training early on in September, as well as being knowledgeable and enthusiastic in the support of pupils with additional needs. The role may involve periods of time working 1:1 with pupils to support learning.
The school is a popular one, well-regarded and over-subscribed, but still maintains a local village presence and a focal point for local residents. Academic standards and expectations are high and children make excellent progress.
