GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting for a committed EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Boston. This magnificent role is available for an immediate start and is open to both experienced Early Years professionals and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
About the Role / Role Overview:
As the EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years provision, fostering curiosity, creativity, and social development in a safe and stimulating environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom that supports individual needs and encourages active learning.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and adapting teaching accordingly.
Support the emotional well-being of children through strong pastoral care and effective communication.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure consistent and cohesive support for every child.
Promote a secure, stimulating, and fun learning environment.
Job Requirements:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with specialism or experience in EYFS.
Demonstrable experience teaching in an Early Years setting.
Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
A nurturing approach, with the ability to foster strong relationships with children and families.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
