Early Years Teacher - Nursery Class
Waltham Forest, London
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Full-time or Part-time
Daily Rate: £190 - £225 (depending on experience)
An inclusive and well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking an experienced Nursery Class Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. The role offers flexibility with either full-time or part-time hours and competitive daily pay.

The Role:
You will lead the nursery class, delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework. The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
Has substantial experience in an Early Years setting, ideally leading a nursery class
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development
Uses inclusive, positive behaviour management strategies effectively
Works confidently with support staff, families, and wider professionals
Is not an ECT - prior classroom experience is essential
