EYFS Reception Teacher (Mat Cover)
Location: Mansfield, Shirebrook - NG20
Daily Rate: £180 - £230
Start Date: Sept 2025
Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Contract: Long Term to Permanent
Are you a passionate and creative EYFS teacher looking for a supportive, forward-thinking environment? Long Term Futures are seeking a Reception Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2025 in a vibrant two-form entry primary school in Mansfield, Shirebrook. This role is ideal for those who have completed their ECT induction and want to thrive in a nurturing early years setting.
The Role:
Take full responsibility for a Reception class
Plan and deliver engaging, child-led lessons that promote development
Observe, track, and assess pupils' progress
Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment
Work closely with the EYFS team, SENCO, and families to support each child's journey
Maintain safeguarding and behaviour standardsRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with completed ECT induction
Experience teaching in EYFS
Creative and nurturing teaching style
Confident managing routines and individual learning needs
Strong communication skills with staff and parents
Knowledge of Read Write Inc or similar phonics programmesAbout the Setting:
