GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a welcoming school in Grimsby. This exciting opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to make a meaningful impact in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Role Overview:
As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children. You will create a stimulating and secure environment where every child can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom setting.
Observe and assess children’s progress in line with EYFS curriculum.
Work closely with parents and staff to support each child's development.
Promote positive behaviour and a love for learning through creative play and exploration.
Candidate Requirements:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable.
Experience working in an EYFS setting is desirable.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A compassionate and flexible approach to teaching.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
