GSL Education are seeking a committed Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a dynamic school in Grimsby. This flexible opportunity offers both short- and long-term placements and is ideal for educators dedicated to laying strong foundations for young learners.
Position Summary:
In this role of an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging early years curriculum that promotes curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. You will plan and implement structured play-based activities that support each child’s individual development. You will play a pivotal role in promoting holistic development and ensuring students gain a positive start to their educational journey.
We are looking for a creative, nurturing, and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher who can:
Plan and deliver lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework that support all areas of children’s development.
Create a safe, caring, and engaging classroom environment where children feel happy, confident, and ready to learn.
Use a variety of play-based and structured activities to encourage curiosity, communication, and social interaction.
Observe and assess each child’s progress regularly and use this information to plan future learning.
Encourage positive behaviour and help children develop key life skills such as sharing, listening, and problem-solving.
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification.
A clear understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and how to apply it in the classroom is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
