GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting a full-time EYFS Teacher for a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Bournemouth. Starting in September 2025, this exciting opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators who are committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive early years environment.
The school offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, with a strong focus on child-centred learning and continuous professional development. A school tour is available before the interview stage, giving candidates the chance to see the school in action. Interviews will take place over the next few weeks.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where all children feel confident to explore and learn
Use formative assessment to track progress and tailor learning to individual needs
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support children’s development
Promote positive behaviour and social-emotional growth through consistent routines and modelling
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in events and collaborative planning
EYFS Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Previous experience working as an EYFS Teacher in primary schools.
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passion for early years education and a nurturing, child-centred teaching approach
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
