About the Role:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to create a stimulating and inclusive setting where every child can thrive. You'll support children through engaging activities, help develop key early learning skills, and promote curiosity, independence, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children's learning through play and planned activities.
Assist with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and group sessions.
Observe and record children's progress, sharing feedback with the class teacher or room leader.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively as part of a caring, professional team.
Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
