About the Role:
As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework. You'll help create a warm and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore and learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children's learning through play, planned activities, and small group work.
Contribute to planning, observation, and assessment of children's progress.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Promote independence, curiosity, and confidence in all learners.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
Experience working with children in a nursery or early years classroom.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
