We’re working with a lovely and welcoming primary school in Scarborough to recruit a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners at the very start of their education journey in a nurturing and engaging environment.
✨ About the Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting where every child can thrive. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll support learning through play, encourage development, and help build confidence in the classroom.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS framework
• Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy activities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed
• Help create a positive, engaging, and structured environment
• Support children’s social and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to monitor progress

• Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred
• Experience working within an EYFS setting
• A nurturing and patient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
