EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time & Part-Time

We’re working with a warm, inclusive infant school near Nuneaton that supports children aged 4–7. It’s a setting where nurture, communication, and early intervention are key – and where support staff play a vital role in each child’s journey.
They’re looking for two passionate EYFS SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team in September:

One full-time (Mon–Fri)
*
One part-time (mornings only)
You’ll be supporting children with additional needs in a creative, play-based environment – helping them feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
🧠 The Role
Working closely with class teachers and SEND staff, you’ll help pupils access learning, build relationships, and develop emotional and social skills. Whether supporting 1:1 or with small groups, your focus will be on positive reinforcement, consistency, and connection.
✨ You don’t need to have done it all before – but you do need to bring patience, initiative, and a genuine desire to make an impact.

Experience supporting children with SEND (e.g., Autism, Speech & Language, SEMH, ADHD)

A calm, confident, and proactive approach

Great communication skills and the ability to follow safeguarding practices
*
A relevant qualification (Level 2 or above, or equivalent experience)
*
A strong grasp of early years learning and child development
🎓 Candidates with further study in psychology, education, or child development are especially encouraged to apply – this is a fantastic opportunity to put your knowledge into practice.
This role starts in September and will begin on a supply basis, with potential for longer-term or permanent placement for the right person.
