EYFS Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Greenwich (Near Plumstead Station)
Location: Greenwich - Short walk from Plumstead Station
Start Date: 23rd June 2025
Contract: Full-time, 1 Year Fixed Term
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)
A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Greenwich, located near Plumstead Station, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from 23rd June. This is a 1-year fixed-term role, ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and wants to build experience in a supportive setting.
EYFS Teaching Assistant - What You'll Do:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS activities
Assist with phonics, early maths, and communication tasks
Encourage learning through play, exploration, and structured routines
Work 1:1 and in small groups with children with varying needs
Help with observations, assessments, and learning diaries
EYFS Teaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:
Experience working in Early Years or Nursery settings (school or private)
A caring, patient, and nurturing personality
Knowledge of the EYFS framework is a plus
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification is desirable
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
