Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: M35, Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute dinner break)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Reeson Education is recruiting a nurturing and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the M35 area of Manchester. This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is full-time and long-term, starting in September, and is perfect for someone who is passionate about early years education.
The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will join a well-resourced EYFS team, supporting pupils in both Nursery and Reception with play-based learning, phonics, and early development activities. The school is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years and recent school-based EYFS experience.

Key responsibilities as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

* Work alongside the class teacher and EYFS lead as a key EYFS Teaching Assistant
* Assist in delivering phonics, numeracy, and early literacy sessions
* Promote social and emotional development as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
* Help pupils with transitions, routines, and personal care
* Set up engaging continuous provision and support classroom organisation
* Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families
* Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies in all EYFS Teaching Assistant duties
* Support both individual pupils and small groups
* Be a consistent, warm, and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant
This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who:
* Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years
* Has recent experience in a school-based EYFS setting
* Is confident supporting children's early development and play
* Is passionate about EYFS learning and child-led approaches

* Lives locally or can easily commute to the M35 area
