Job Description
We are currently looking for a Fabric Engineer to join our clients mobile team covering Yorkshire, working 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday. As a Fabric Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing specialist building services, energy solutions, and project work to various commercial contracts across the Facilities Management sector.
The successful Fabric Engineer will be responsible for
* Responsibility for fabric related PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded
* Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include exterior works, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry related tasks
* External ground works maintenance duties
* To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
* To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work
* Ensure that all equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria
* Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Fabric Engineer with:
* NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification.
* Time served multi trades operative / handyperson who has considerable carpentry and joinery experience.
