Job Description

A leading company in the FM industry is hiring a Fabric Engineer in South Ayrshire, where your work will directly support operational excellence and client satisfaction. The Role As the Fabric Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards across various sites. Your key duties will include: PPM Tasks: Conducting regular Planned Preventative Maintenance, including AHU/FCU checks and water temperature monitoring. Fabric Maintenance: Carrying out general repairs, carpentry work, and decorating tasks. Operational Support: Responding promptly to maintenance requests to ensure operational continuity and client satisfaction. Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency. Compliance: Ensuring all work is carried out in strict accordance with health and safety regulations. You To be successful in the role of Fabric Engineer, you’ll bring: Experience: Relevant experience in maintenance and repairs, ideally with a Joinery qualification/background. Problem-Solving: Strong abilities to troubleshoot issues and maintain a high attention to detail. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and with clients. Proactive Mindset: A positive approach to tasks and a willingness to learn new skills. Safety Conscious: A solid understanding of health and safety practices in maintenance environments.
