Job Description
Job Title: Fabric Engineer/GMO
Location: Guildford Site/Corporate Office
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Are you a hands-on, all-rounder with ideally a Level 2 Plumbing qualification? Looking to build a long-term career with a clear path to becoming a qualified engineer? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are currently seeking a Fabric/GMO (General Maintenance Operative) to join our team on a prestigious site in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is practical, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally in a secure and supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:

General maintenance and plumbing tasks
*
Supporting building fabric repairs and a wide range of FM duties
*
Working closely with engineers, with a clear path to upskilling and formal qualifications
*
Taking initiative and being proactive in maintenance solutions
What We’re Looking For:
*
Level 2 qualification in Plumbing
*
Experience in general building maintenance or facilities management
*
A real “can-do” attitude – someone who can turn their hand to most tasks
*
Strong work ethic and willingness to upskill (training provided)
