Role Overview:
As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for general building maintenance and repairs across a wide variety of commercial and specialist sites. Your day-to-day work will include:
*
Basic plumbing, joinery, carpentry, and painting
*
Minor electrical maintenance (non-qualified tasks)
*
Patch plastering, tiling, and flooring repairs
*
Door, lock, and ironmongery adjustments or replacements
*
General building upkeep and reactive maintenance
*
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks
*
Keeping accurate records of work completed
As a Fabric Engineer you’ll work across sites including:

Commercial offices
*
Distribution centres
*
Hotels and hospitality venues
*
Rail infrastructure
*
Schools and educational buildings
*
Care homes and medical facilities
*
Veterinary practices
*
Casinos and entertainment venues
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven background in fabric maintenance or general building repairs
*
Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
*
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Based in or around Glasgow or Edinburgh
