Job Title: Handyman/Fabric Engineer
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Contract: Hospital
A leading facilities maintenance company is seeking a skilled Handyman for a permanent role on a static contract in Portsmouth. This is a stable, full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance.
Key Benefits:
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
Other: Company pension scheme & static site (no travel)Role and Responsibilities:
Perform a range of general maintenance including basic plumbing, carpentry, and minor decorative repairs (painting, patching).
Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
Respond efficiently to reactive maintenance requests from the on-site team.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a multi-skilled Handyman or maintenance role.
Proficient in basic plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
A proactive problem-solver who can work independently.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
