Job Description
Job Title: Fabric Engineer
Job Purpose:
To ensure the efficient upkeep and maintenance of the building fabric through proactive and reactive maintenance tasks, supporting a safe and functional working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance of the building fabric as required.
Perform escorting duties for sub-contractors on-site when necessary.
Complete basic plumbing tasks, ensuring functional and safe water systems.
Conduct general handyman duties, addressing day-to-day maintenance needs.
Undertake minor carpentry and joinery work to maintain structural integrity and appearance.
Carry out painting and decorating tasks to preserve aesthetic standards and protect surfaces.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience in fabric/building maintenance.
Competency in basic plumbing, carpentry, and general handyman skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and proactive approach to work.
