Our client, a well-established leader in the Building Services sector, is seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to become a key part of their team. Based at one of their sites in Burton-on-Trent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of the facility.
Job details:
* Responsible for fabric-related PPM and reactive works to meet customer expectations:
* Basic Plumbing work
* Flooring and ceiling works
* Carpentry
* Painting and decorating
* General handy man tasks including fitting and repairing locks, hinges and handles.
* Door Fitting / Repairs
* Carrying out basic electrical works.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of documentation
* Maintain the plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards and ensure all plant and equipment is well maintained.
* Maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHUs).
* Inducting subcontractors, reviewing rams and assisting where possible
Qualifications / Experience:
* Apprentice trained (desirable).
* Qualified to Level 3 as a minimum (NVQ/BTEC/ONC).
* 18th Edition wiring regs (desirable).
* Must have previous experience in a similar role.
* Ability to use internal IT systems.
* Ability to work from instruction and make decisions as needed with minimal supervision.
What’s on offer:
* Salary: £32,000
* Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 16:30pm (Working 1 in 3 weekends including Saturday & Sunday with the following Monday & Tuesday off)
