Job Title: Multi-skilled Fabric Engineer
Location: Chester / Crewe / Newcastle-under-Lyme / Macclesfield
Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (flexible)
Call-out Rota: 1 in 4 (subject to change)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-skilled Fabric Engineer to join a growing team providing planned and reactive maintenance services across care home sites. The role offers a strong work-life balance, excellent benefits, and opportunities for progression and training within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks (70/30 split)
*
Carry out fabric maintenance, repairs, and minor installation works as required
*
Work effectively as part of a team covering multiple sites
*
Liaise with on-site staff and maintain professional client-facing relationships
*
Participate in the call-out rota (1 in 4)
*
Maintain accurate records of work carried out

Overtime available at enhanced rates:

1.4x Monday to Saturday

Qualifications & Experience (Desirable but not essential):

NVQ or equivalent in a relevant trade
*
18th Edition (Electrical)
*
Legionella Awareness (L8)
*
Proven experience in a similar role
*
Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
