NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Manager to join a prestigous client based in Derbyshire.
Our client are a leading innovator and manufacturer of automated, high-technology equipment, with a worldwide customer base. They are looking for an experienced Fabrication Department Manager to run and continuously improve their laser/folding and fabrication section.
We only cut stainless and run one of the cleanest laser shops you will find.
This is a fantastic opportunity for career development with the opportunity to grow your skills leading a section using the latest equipment. The role is part of an overall teamproducing the highest quality machinery.
You are right for this job if you are:
Experienced Section Leader, with proven leadership skills, operating in a safe, efficient working environment
• Highly skilled and experienced stainless steel TIG welder/fabricator
• Experienced Setting and Operating Laser Cutting and Press Brake Machines
• Work quickly and accurately in a precision, high-technology environment
• Ability to visually quality check work/components
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Proven leadership, management and planning skills
• Good communication and influencing skills at all levels
• Good work ethic, team spirit and a flexible approach
• Able to work under pressure and lead by example
• Adaptable to change within a continuous improvement environment
• Flexible with a willingness to learn new techniques
