Job Description
Fabrication Manager
* Hands on management position that would suit someone from a fabrication background.
* Salary c£50,000 to £55,000 as a guide.
* Day shift position within a growing engineering business with a strong order book.
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to lead a small team across several areas of production. The business operate within the sheet metal / heavy engineering sector so any prior knowledge of manufacturing processes within this industry would be ideal.
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
This Fabrication Manager job will suit:
* Experience working within the sheet metal fabrication sector.
* Proven Man Management / Supervisory experience, alongside a track record of improving processes.
* Organised and a natural problem solver. Someone who wants to own the department and strive to continually improve all aspects.
* Comfortable overcoming tasks and challenges related to wider areas of production, such as inventory management, lean manufacturing principles etc.

* Planning inventory stock and reducing excess of materials where possible.
