What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Manager, your responsibility is to ensure all live event builds are delivered “Right First Time”—on time, within budget, and fully compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
You'll work in close coordination with project managers, operational teams, tradespeople, and clients to execute a wide range of live events, including exhibitions, festivals, and roadshows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and participating in daily production meetings
* Working with project managers to develop schedules, build plans, and event solutions
* Updating internal systems with project workloads and team tasks (training provided)
* Managing on-site builds with technical expertise and hands-on leadership
* Coordinating trades teams and acting as a key point of contact for clients
* Overseeing all fabrication elements, including drawing reviews and build documentation
* Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety protocols and quality benchmarks
Skills and Experience Required
* Demonstrated experience in events, exhibitions, or scenic build environments
* Strong working knowledge of joinery, fabrication, and live build processes
* Ability to lead teams confidently or follow direction when required
* Competent in reading, interpreting, and producing technical drawings
* Dependable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
* Skilled in managing and coordinating contractors or trades onsite
* Comfortable working across multiple projects in a high-pressure environment
* Solid background in hands-on construction or production managementBefore You Apply
