Our client in Colpy, Insch, is seeking an experienced Fabrication Project Engineer to play a key role in managing fabrication, vessel, and offshore scopes. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to ensure projects are executed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
This role would suit someone that has worked previously as a workshop manager/supervisor and is now looking to make the move in to a strategic operational role.

29 Days Annual Leave (Including bank holidays) - bank holidays must be booked if taken as company is open on bank holidays Role and Responsibilities:
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate project requirements.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to ensure smooth execution.
Interpret and work from detailed fabrication and technical drawings.
Identify and resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively.
Maintain a strong focus on quality and on-time delivery, ensuring work meets client specifications.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments and with external partners.
Assist with the preparation of project documentation and reports to maintain compliance and operational standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to identify and implement practical solutions to operational challenges.
Confident in reading and interpreting fabrication and technical drawings.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
A team player with a solution-driven mindset.
