Fabrication Supervisor
📍 Location: East Kilbride
🕓 Hours: 4-day working week (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday)
💷 Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
Aspired Talent are currently recruiting for a skilled and hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to lead our client's busy workshop team in East Kilbride. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong sheet metal background—particularly in aluminium fabrication—and experience in MIG & TIG welding.
You’ll take projects from design through to manufacture, ensuring top-quality output while fostering a positive and productive workshop environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Supervise a small fabrication team, managing workflow from initial concept to finished product.
Carry out high-quality MIG & TIG welding tasks.
Oversee daily workshop operations, including conducting Return to Work (RTW) meetings.
Manage team holidays and monitor absences.
Mentor and support two apprentices in their development.
Ensure all projects meet internal quality standards and deadlines.
✅ What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in aluminium sheet metal fabrication.
Proficient in MIG & TIG welding.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development.
