Role – Fabricator and Welding role
Location – Close to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Thursday – Full time hours
Capacity of role – Temporary to permanent position
Pay Rate – up to £18.50 per hour
Our client is a leading sub contractor and looking to expand within their workshop with the additional of a welder to support their manufacturing function.
Applicants will need to have previous experience within a similar role and will need own transport due to the location of the premise.
Main duties will include –
• Reading technical drawings
• Welding on mild steel
• Perform basic repairs on welding/fabrication equipment
• Perform welding operations using various techniques
• Prepare metal materials for fabrication and welding
• Using a variety of hand and power tools to finish product range
Candidate attributes –
Ability to weld using MIG practises
Fabrication experience
Own transport is essential due to the location of the premises
Good communication skills
