Workchain is currently seeking a Multi Skilled Fabricator to join our client in Leicester on a permanent basis.
Our client are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Fabricator to join their team who specialize in structural steel and balustrade fabrication.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading technical drawings, measuring, cutting, welding, and assembling steel components to precise specifications.
This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.
Immediate interviews and starts are available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
* Measure, cut, drill, and shape steel to exact dimensions
* Fabricate and assemble structural steel and balustrade components
* Operate tools and machinery including saws, grinders, drills, and CNC equipment
* Perform quality checks to ensure work meets specifications and standards
Key Experience:
* Proven experience in steel fabrication, especially in structural and balustrade work
* Proficient in welding and metalworking techniques
* Competent with fabrication tools and machinery
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Hours of work are 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 5.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 9.30am.
The starting salary is £37.5kpa, with excellent company benefits, with overtime premiums available taking earing to £45kpa upwards.
