Job Description

Our client is a well-established, family-run fabrication business based in Sunderland. They specialise in the manufacture of high-quality fabricated products, primarily producing frames of various sizes along with structural and modular components. The company prides itself on craftsmanship, consistency, and a supportive working environment.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join the workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating a range of frames and structural components to engineering drawings, working with a variety of materials including box section, I-beams, and flat bar.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Fabrication of frames and structural/modules to drawings and specifications

  * 

    Working with materials such as box section, I-beams, and flat bar

  * 

    Assembling and fabricating components accurately

  * 

    Ensuring high standards of quality and workmanship

  * 

    Working independently and as part of a close-knit workshop team

  * 

    Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Skills & Experience

  * 

    Proven experience as a Fabricator

  * 

    Ability to MIG weld a bonus

  * 

    Strong experience working with box section, I-beams, and flat bar (essential)

  * 

    Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

  * 

    Good attention to detail and accuracy

  * 

    Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused
