Job Description
We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected engineering manufacturer in Burton Upon Trent for an experienced Fabricator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in heavy fabrication to secure a long-term role with a stable and forward-thinking company.
The Role:
As a Fabricator, you'll work on large-scale, heavy-duty metal structures and components, using technical drawings to carry out high-precision fabrication and welding. You’ll be joining a busy and well-equipped workshop with a reputation for quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Heavy fabrication from engineering drawings
*
MIG welding (TIG/Stick experience beneficial)
*
Cutting, drilling, and assembling steel structures
*
Working with thick gauge materials and overhead cranes
*
Ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards
What We're Looking For:
*
Proven experience in heavy fabrication
*
Strong MIG welding skills
*
Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings
*
Experience working with large structural steel or industrial components
*
Reliable and safety-conscious with a team-focused attitude
What’s on Offer:
*
£14.00 – £17.00 per hour depending on experience
*
Overtime available at enhanced rates
*
Day shifts (Monday to Friday)
*
