Job Description
Opus Vitae is recruiting on behalf of a long-established leader in high-quality steel solutions, they’re now looking for a skilled Fabricator to join their production team, working on the fabrication of bespoke steel products.
What you’ll be doing:
* Fabricating a wide range of steel products to customer specifications
* Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings
* Cutting, bending, drilling, and assembling steel components using workshop machinery and hand tools
* Carrying out light welding work where required
* Checking finished work to ensure it meets quality and dimensional standards
* Working closely with other team members to meet production deadlines
* Following all company health & safety policies and keeping your workspace clean and organised
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in steel fabrication (bespoke work)
* Ability to work from engineering drawings accurately
* Skilled in using fabrication tools and machinery
* High standard of welding
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Commitment to safe working practices and correct PPE use
