Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience + overtime + benefits)

Aspion Search is working with a well-established manufacturer in Carlisle to recruit a Fabricator / Welder. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a skilled Fabricator / Welder looking for long-term stability, ongoing development, and a supportive, team-focused working environment.

The Role – Fabricator / Welder
The Fabricator / Welder will be responsible for fabricating and TIG welding a variety of stainless-steel components and structures, working accurately to tight tolerances and supporting the wider fabrication team.
Key Responsibilities of the Fabricator / Welder
Fabricate and weld stainless-steel components
Work from and interpret detailed technical engineering drawings
Produce high-quality, aesthetically neat TIG welds
Ensure all work meets tight dimensional and quality tolerances
Use workshop machinery and tools
Work accurately and efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets
Support production needs and work agreed overtime when required
Requirements of the Fabricator / Welder
Time-served or completed Apprenticeship in Fabrication/Welding (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent)
Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel to a high aesthetic and structural standard
Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
Solid fabrication experience with excellent attention to detail
At least 3 year's experience in a Fabricator/Welder role
