Welder / Fabricator – Thin Gauge Aluminium
Location: Farnborough
Type: Full-time Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday–Friday (lunchtime finish on Fridays)
We are currently seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator with strong experience in sheet metal work and thin gauge aluminium welding, to join a precision engineering team in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality, technically challenging projects in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform precision welding on thin gauge aluminium using
Read and interpret CAD drawings to fabricate and weld components to tight specifications.
Carry out critical self-inspection of work before moving to the next stage of production.
Produce welding work in line with customer specifications and engineering drawings.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to reduce waste or enhance processes.
About You:
Proven experience with thin gauge aluminium welding.
Skilled in AC/DC welding methods – particularly DTAW and GMAW.
Solid background in sheet metal fabrication.
Able to work accurately from detailed technical drawings.
Positive, can-do attitude with a strong respect for health & safety practices.
