Fabricator Welders required for structural steel projects based in the Bristol area.
Normal working days will be Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). 07.15am to 04.30pm Monday to Thursday and 07.45am to 1.45pm on a Friday
Reasonable amount of overtime to be expected.
* Must be fully qualified in Fabrication and Welding, ideally with a Level 3 (or equivalent qualification)
* Experienced with working with large structural steel beams, preferably with at least 5 years’ experience.
* Tested and approved to ISO 9606 in Multi run fillet welds as a minimum.
* Be able to demonstrate a competent ability to both fabricate and weld steel components to a high standard.
* Must be able to read and fully understand engineering drawings and fabricate steelwork with minimal supervision.
* Read and be able to follow WPS’s to the required standard.
* Experienced in use of Over Head Cranes and slinging of Sectional Steel
* Ability to work to and adhere to Health and Safety procedures and work instructions.
* Works well on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Punctual and reliable.
