About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team in Middleton, Greater Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fabrications and welds using MIG and TIG techniques, adhering to engineering specifications and health & safety standards. You will interpret engineering drawings, perform inspections, and contribute to process improvements within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Produce quality fabrications and welds safely and efficiently
* Interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools
* Operate fabrication equipment and overhead lifting tools
* Inspect parts for quality and conformance to standards
* Detect and address welding or fabrication issues promptly
* Maintain clean and safe work areas and conduct basic equipment maintenance
* Support additional duties as required by line management
* Comply with NOV's Quality and HSE policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
* Time-served apprenticeship in Fabrication/Welding (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3)
* Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
* Familiarity with ASME welding standards and processes
* Competent with fabrication tools and equipment
* Understanding of manual handling, slinging, and lifting techniques
* Basic computer literacy and HSE awareness
Soft Skills (optional)
