Location: Featherstone, WV10 7DB
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: £30,225 – £31200 (depending on experience)
Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
About the Role
A skilled and motivated Fabricator/Welder is required to join a dynamic production team. The role involves working with sheet metal to produce high-quality components for a wide range of industrial applications. This is a hands-on position that suits someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble metal components to detailed specifications
Perform welding using various methods, including rotational welding
Operate hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance and precision
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work collaboratively to improve production processes
Ideal Candidate
Experienced in welding and metal fabrication
Able to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills
Accurate with measurements and basic calculations
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Reliable, self-driven, and takes pride in their work
