Fabricator / Welder
Location: Heywood, OL10
Pay: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour
Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday
Benefits: Company pension, on-site parking
On behalf of our client, a specialist manufacturer based in Heywood, we are recruiting an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive pay and benefits.
Fabricator / Welder Role Overview:
You will work on the fabrication of thin gauge stainless steel (1.2mm – 3mm), supporting production and quality control within a busy manufacturing environment.
Fabricator / Welder Key Responsibilities:
Carry out TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety standards are met
Work to production schedules while maintaining quality
Support quality control and inspections
Use management systems to track jobs efficiently
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Assist with other duties as required
Fabricator / Welder Requirements:
Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience, particularly with thin gauge stainless steel
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
