Job Description

Ambitek are currently looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our client’s busy workshop team in Wrexham.

The Role

As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of structural steelwork, working from detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.

Your duties will include:

  * Fabricating structural steelwork from engineering drawings

  * Cutting, fitting and welding structural steel components

  * Reading and working from detailed fabrication drawings

  * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and specification

  * Working safely and efficiently within a busy workshop environment

Requirements

  * Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and welding

  * Ability to read and work from engineering/fabrication drawings

  * Strong fabrication and welding skills

  * Good attention to detail

  * Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

  * Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications or certificates are advantageous
