Facade & Cladding Estimator

Leicester

£45,000 – £75,000 (depending on experience)

A growing specialist contractor based in Leicester is seeking an experienced Facade & Cladding Estimator to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and accurate cost estimates for façade and cladding packages across commercial and residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Preparing detailed cost estimates for façade and cladding systems

  * 

    Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

  * 

    Completing material take-offs and pricing project packages

  * 

    Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations

  * 

    Assisting with the preparation and submission of tender proposals

  * 

    Identifying value engineering opportunities and potential project risks

Requirements

  * 

    Previous experience estimating facades, rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, or building envelope systems

  * 

    Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications

  * 

    Good commercial awareness and attention to detail

  * 

    Proficiency with Excel or estimating software

  * 

    Excellent communication and organisational skills
