Facade Manager – Edinburgh
Immediate Start | Freelance & Permanent Opportunities | Long-Term Work

We are currently seeking an experienced Facade Manager for projects based in Edinburgh, with an immediate start available. This opportunity offers both freelance and permanent positions, with long-term work secured.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing façade packages from pre-construction through installation and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Managing day-to-day façade installation works on site

  * Coordinating subcontractors including curtain walling, brickwork, cladding, glazing and envelope trades

  * Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and sequencing requirements

  * Overseeing quality control and façade inspections

  * Managing health & safety for façade activities

  * Liaising with design teams, consultants, and main contractor

  * Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical details

  * Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management

  * Managing logistics, deliveries, and access requirements

  * Overseeing testing, commissioning, and handover of façade packages

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a Facade Manager

  * Strong background delivering curtain walling / cladding packages

  * Experience managing full building envelope installations

  * Ability to read and interpret technical façade drawings

  * Knowledge of QA processes and façade compliance requirements

  * Strong coordination and communication skills

  * SMSTS or SSSTS preferred

  * CSCS Card required
