We are working with a leading façade engineering and building consultancy based in London. They specialise in delivering expert advice on building envelopes, cladding systems, and façade performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting site inspections and façade condition surveys, and in producing high-quality technical reports and documentation.
The salary for the role will depend on experience but the range is between £40,000 and £60,000.
Requirements for the Facade Technician:
Experience in façade engineering, building surveying, or a related construction discipline
A good understanding of common façade systems and materials (e.g., curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, brickwork, glazing)
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Working knowledge of UK building regulations and façade-related standards
Membership or working toward membership with RICS, CIOB, CWCT, or similar professional bodies
