About the Client

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor operating within the façade industry, delivering aluminium stick glazing systems, curtain walling, windows, balconies, and door packages. With a strong order book and continued growth, they are expanding their pre-construction team to meet demand. The business offers a collaborative environment with flexibility, including hybrid working for experienced façade estimators.

Roles/Responsibilities

Review tender documentation, specifications, and drawings to fully understand project requirements.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labour, materials, and indirect resources in line with project programmes.
Carry out take-offs and pricing for aluminium glazing systems including curtain walling, windows, doors, and balconies.
Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, ensuring all submission deadlines are met.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to obtain accurate pricing and technical information.
Analyse project requirements and provide solutions to technical and commercial challenges.
Support the conversion of quotations into secured orders through proactive follow-up and client engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the tender process.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ estimating experience, ideally within the curtain walling, glazing, or façade sector.
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Sound mathematical and IT skills, with attention to detail across technical and contractual information.
Experience in financial analysis and technical problem-solving within construction projects.
Ability to work under pressure and manage workload to meet strict deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Proactive approach with the drive to follow up leads and convert opportunities into secured work.Benefits
