Job Description
Candidates from a sub-contracting main competitor would be highly desirable, but would also consider façade professionals from a main contracting or consultancy background.
As Head Of The Technical Department, you'll be a nature leader responsible for dealing with demanding clients, all the while, managing a team of 20+ Designers of various levels.
The role will not outsourced in anyway and will be responsible for recruitment and steady growth of the technical team.
Duties, roles and responsibilities include:
Strong desire to manage, mentor and train junior staff
Familiar with Solidworks, Inventor, Autodesk, Logical, Revit and/or Staad software
Understand construction and facade design, as well as open to automation and dynamic control of design
Fabrication very aware and if from a main contracting or consultancy background, someone able to think like a sub-contractor and right at the sharp end of the construction process
Lead on preparation of the composition and submission of the commercial aspects of PQQ/RFP, including coordinating cross functional teams in support of this process.
Acting as a key client interface at technical and project delivery level, providing client care and developmentDepending on the calibre of the candidate, my client would look to pay circa 50,000 AED tax free for the right person.
