Market Drayton
I'm currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician Electrician to join a well-established and growing engineering team based in Market Drayton. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary, structured daytime hours, and long-term career potential.
This position is ideal for a qualified electrician with experience in industrial maintenance, looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced, technically focused environment.

Salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (core hours 8:30am-5:00pm with flexibility)

Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
Diagnosing faults and restoring operations with minimal disruption
Supporting installations, modifications, and upgrades of equipment
Conducting PAT testing and emergency lighting maintenance
Ensuring all work complies with current wiring regulations (BS7671)
Logging work through a CMMS (such as HolisTech)
Supporting project work, energy-saving initiatives, and compliance checks
Supervising contractors and managing permits as needed
Requirements:
Fully qualified electrician with industrial experience
Minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds 2330/2365 or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certified
Strong fault-finding and repair skills in an industrial setting
Familiarity with inverters, control panels, and motor systems
Comfortable working with health and safety protocols and permit systems
Experience using a CMMS (e.g., HolisTech) is an advantage
Location:
This role is based in Market Drayton and is commutable from areas such as Telford, Shrewsbury, Stoke-on-Trent, or Newcastle-under-Lyme.
