CK Group are recruiting for a Facilities/Maintenance Manager to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Huntingdon (Cambridgeshire), on a permanent basis. This role will be fully onsite.
The Company:
Our client provides resources to the pre-clinical research market. They have contributed to the development of life-saving therapies and treatments for humans and animals.
The Role:
Ensuring the smooth and efficient maintenance operation of our clients facilities and site as a whole.
Responsible for the management of site projects such as refurberation including developing and presenting projects to senior management for approval including requesting tenders from outside contractors.
Responsible for managing outside contractors working on site.Other Responsibilities:
Embed a ‘safety first’ culture and develop the team to deliver the highest standards and promote a positive Health & Safety culture.
Ensure that all equipment and systems are in optimal working condition
Keep up to date PPM Schedule of works
Monitor planned maintenance and breakdown activities, logging any delays, and escalating issues to the Site Manager
Your Background:
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in Laboratory or Hospital building services or facilities management.
Knowledge of building/or systems, projects buildings and liase with contractors as required.
Self starter with strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesApply:
